Mitchell Parks DNP, ARNP
Doctor of Nurse Practicing, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
Mitchell grew up in Shoreline, Washington and attended Washington State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Medical Science and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Go Cougs!).
He went on to work for seven years as a Registered Nurse at the University of Washington Medical Center where he gained valuable experience caring for acute and complex patients. From that experience, he was motivated to take on a role that would allow him to help guide patients to pursue lifestyle choices that mitigate chronic disease while promoting longevity and vitality.
After obtaining his doctorate at the University of Washington he became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He then joined a busy practice where in collaboration with naturopathic physicians, he provides primary and preventative wellness care using a blend of conventional, functional, and integrative medicine principles.
He strives to help patients meet their health goals and works within each patient’s unique lifestyles and needs. He enjoys teaching patients about diseases, labs, and treatment options, and hopes that every patient leaves their visit feeling confident and well informed. He has received post-doctoral training from the following institutions:
· American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine
· The Forum for Integrative Medicine
· American Academy of Procedural Medicine – Joint Injection and Trigger Point Therapy
· Stanford University – Exercise Physiology
He is looking forward to moving to the Tri Cities this fall with his wife Catie (a Kamiakin high school graduate), to begin his next chapter at Pacific Clinic. Together they enjoy watching the Mariners and Cougs, spending time with family, live music, and getting outside whenever they can.
