Welcome to StarFish Swim School!
StarFish Swim School is a premier year-round learn-to-swim and swim safety program designed to cater to all age groups and skill levels.
At StarFish Swim School, we believe that swimming is not just a skill; it's a journey of growth, confidence, and enjoyment.
Our program operates on a monthly tuition basis, offering lessons for all age groups and skill levels. Whether you're looking to introduce your little ones to the joy of swimming or seeking advanced training for competitive swimming, we have lessons for everyone!
Getting Started
Let's get your child enrolled!
New students are welcome to join at any time, with lessons beginning at the start of the following month. A swim evaluation is required. This evaluation ensures placement in the most suitable lesson for their age group and skill level, guaranteeing a personalized and effective learning experience.
We proudly offer lessons for ages 4 months through adults, covering a spectrum from beginners to advanced competitors.

Monthly Tuition Rates
Small Group Lessons - Tiny Tot, Super Kid, Levels 1 and 2: Max 3 students per 1 instructor. All other levels Max 4:1
25-minute lesson.
WA state sales tax will apply

PC Flyers Novice Swim Team-
45-minute practice.

Annual Registration Fee for Non-Members - $59 per family account, immediate family only.
Non-members who wish to enroll in SFSS are charged an Annual Registration Fee upon enrollment.
This fee covers the administrative costs and insurance that allow you to participate in our program.
*Enrollment in StarFish Swim School Small Group Lessons must be cancelled before the 20th to avoid being charged for the following month.
Swim Levels
Swim Lesson Levels and Progressions
Parent Tot (Ages 4 months -2.5 years, Progresses to Tiny Tot): Introduction to water for parents and their infants. Working to build water confidence and basic water safety skills for toddlers.
Tiny Tot (Progresses to Super Kid or Ages up to Level 1): Developing foundational swimming skills.
Super Kid (Progresses to Mega Kid or Ages up to Level 2): Advancing swimming techniques and water safety awareness.
Mega Kid (Ages up to Level 3): Mastering advanced swimming skills.
Levels 1-6: Progressing through increasingly advanced swimming skills and techniques.
Additional Programs
PC Flyers Novice Swim Team:

Requirements for joining Flyers is to be proficient in all 4 strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly). If not yet proficient in butterfly we allow swimmers to join 1x/week in concurrence with level 6 group lessons 1x/week or private lessons until they are proficient.
Youth (12-17) and Adult 18+ Beginner Classes:

Beginner swimmers are those who are new to the water and may not be comfortable in deep water. These lessons will focus on being comfortable putting one's face in the water, being relaxed in a back float, proper kicking technique, beginner arm patterns, breathing techniques and safety skills.
Youth (12-17) and Adult 18+ Intermediate Classes:

Intermediate swimmers are those who are mostly swimming on their own but need more technique work. These lessons will focus on improving kick technique, side breathing exercises, developing their freestyle stroke and increasing endurance.
Private Swim Lessons
Private lessons are great for anyone who wants to learn how to swim or is training to improve their technique.
Linda Mauws, our private swim instructor, started her swimming career when she was 8 years old and has been a fish ever since! She competed competitively in high school and participated in Master's Swim as well. She has been with The Pacific Clinic since October 2020 and she is excited to help you reach your swimming goals!
