Poor Weather Policy - Our goal is to run everything as scheduled with limited cancellations.
Aquatic Fitness Classes
2 or 3 HR DELAY/Closure: All classes before noon are CANCELED. Classes at noon or later run as scheduled unless otherwise told.
*6:00 a.m. class, if no delay or cancellation was announced the night before but we experienced bad weather overnight, a decision is to be made by 5:00 a.m. whether to hold a class or not. The service desk is notified by 5:00 a.m.
*Under extreme weather conditions some classes may be canceled at our discretion. This is decided 1 hour before class.
Group Exercise Classes
2 or 3 HR DELAY/Closure: All early morning group fitness classes are CANCELED before 9:15 a.m. All other classes are dependent upon current weather/road conditions. A determination is made 2 hours before class time.
After-school activities canceled: If weather conditions continue to be hazardous throughout the day, the Fitness Director decides if we are going to run evening classes 2 hours before class time.

Small Group Training
If the trainer cannot make it in for their early Small Group Training class the trainer contacts their participants and let them know. In some cases, the trainer may call the desk to get contact info or ask the service desk to call the participants.
Individual Personal Training
If the trainer cannot make it in for their early appointments they call the service desk and the service desk needs to call the client. Some trainers may call their clients directly.
Pilates
All Pilates classes run as scheduled unless the instructor calls in and cannot make it. If the instructor calls in the instructor calls the class participants. If the instructor doesn’t have their contact info the service desk needs to call all the class participants.
Kids’ Activities / Nursery
2 or 3 HR DELAY: Morning nursery services are still available at regularly scheduled times.
Closure: Morning nursery services are still available at regularly scheduled times. The potential addition of morning kids' programs (this is announced via social media). Evening nursery services and kids' programs are planned to run at regularly scheduled times, however, they may be adjusted depending on the severity of the storm and the group exercise schedule.
After-school activities canceled: If there is a cancellation of after-school programs there will be no kids' program activities, this is posted on social media and inside the facility.
Swimming Lessons
We do not follow any school district closures. In the rare event that we would cancel lessons due to weather, we would notify families via email and post on Facebook, a minimum of 1 hour before the lesson. Tennis & Pickleball Lessons
2 or 3 HR DELAY: Morning PC leagues cancel.
Private lessons: These are subject to the Pros, who reach out to their lessons individually.
Social leagues: Cancellation is determined by the coordinators.
Closure/After-school activities canceled: We do not follow any school district closures. In the rare event we would cancel due to weather we would notify participants via a post on Facebook, a minimum of 1 hour before the activity.
Junior Development: If we cancel the lesson no make-ups are available, however, a credit is applied to your account.
Private lessons: These are subject to the Pros, who reach out to their lessons individually.
Social leagues: Cancellation is determined by the coordinators.
Preschool
SCHOOL DELAY – school runs as scheduled. KSD SCHOOL CLOSURE – preschool canceled.
Primary Care, Physical & Massage Therapy Patients
All appointments are held as scheduled unless the provider is unable to make it or the patient feels unsafe and requests to cancel. Reception Staff handles cancellations when providers are not able to make it in and offers telemed visits when appropriate. All phone calls should be transferred to the Medical Office at ext. 117 or 155.
Regenerative Therapy & Medical Weight Loss
All appointments are held as scheduled unless the coach is unable to make it or the client feels unsafe and requests to cancel. Coaches handle cancellations when staffing is unable to make it in.
